Default Adding a DVD player to my civic

Lately I've been going traveling a lot (3 2000mi roadtrips this year already) and I've been considering installing a DVD player in my 97 4dr civic. I already have a decent alpine head unit that's only a year old. I'm debating wether to install a cheap 7" flip-out DVD player ($350-$500) or just run my current head unit with a seperate DVD player in the single din port (down by the shifter on 96-00 civics) with a screen installed in the passenger side visor. Anyone run either of these setups? Anyone have any problems with glare? The front of my car isn't tinted. Thanks for the help.

if your worried about the glare without having your windows tinted then dont buy a cheap screen. Ive installed several screens from walmart or bestbuy and if they get any sunlight on them you can barely see them. Check out sony's new stuff their new double din has one of the best pictures im every seen in a car.
