You need an obd1 ecu and a "chip kit".
The chip kit can also add vtec and convert to manual if needed.

Simplest way to do it is buy a chipped p06 or p28 ecu and you are done.

There are probably cheaper kits but this is what you would need https://www.hamotorsports.com/usdmchipkit.html

And its pretty simple. If you google "how to chip obd1 ecu" you will get loads of info. And yes soldering and desoldering

Are you tuning it yourself? There are some realtime tuning solutions you will want if you are.

Hey ! How hard would it be to tune myself ? Dont think I know enough really to do that ..like i think ive hit a brick wall with the crome route and looking like i have to buy hondata . Last straw was wen one of the tuners quoted me same price to tune on crome as on homdata 1000 bucks for ether one and theres a longstanding place by me that will tune it on hondata for 500 canadian. So that with the Hondata unit is getting pricey but seems like a headache any other way.
