Default Instruments lights not working.

I recently installed subs, but after when I turned my lights on to go back home I realized my speedometer, tachometer, gas, etc. lights were not turning on. Luckily I have a gps that tells me my speed. However, I obviously concluded that I blew the fuse, so I went and bought some but whenever I put a new fuse in the instrument light spot it would automatically blow. If anyone knows a solution to this it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Let me google that for you

Plus the fact that you recently added things to your electrical system?

Every time I put a new fuse in the instrument light spot it blows the fuse. People are saying I have a short, how would I fix it if I have a short.

You need take things apart and look for bare wires that are touching, frayed, etc. maybe a positive wire grounding out.

One other thing, if they're frayed, bare, or touching it's just an easy electrical tape over fix or will I need to run new wire?

Its possible you fried the dash dimmer creating a short circuit there as well. Did you use the illumination wire on the new audio equipment wiring?
