Default D15 Dizzy Tach output

This is a complete long shot, but has anyone got an oscilloscope reading from the tach wire on a D15 dizzy?

I am trying to work out values for components in my ems to reduce noise etc

Or maybe has anyone at least measured it with a multimeter?

I never checked it when it was running, because I was going to take readings from my crank angle sensor. However I will not be using the CAS until I have the ignition system up and running.

Thanks in advance.

i know people had this problem with the aem fic and the scion tc.
They used a 2.2k resistor to filter the noise.

Thanx bud. I don't have a problem (well not yet). I have designed my own EMS and never intended on using the tach wire for RPM. So I never took any oscilloscope readings to see what I was working with. But now I have changed my mind and want to use it in the interim.

So I just wanted to see if I can gauge the average voltage peak and the average voltage noise.

This way I can put it through a voltage divider to firstly remove some noise below the calculated output which will go through a mosfet sending a cleaner signal to a schmitt trigger to provide a clean digital signal to my ems.

Thank you for the heads up with other EMS's having issues reading the tach wire and their fix. Appreciated.
