Default Wideband help...Did i F-up?

Ok, so I bought a wideband and went to install it, I only have 1 o2 bung available, so I used it as a narrowband or whatever, anyways..
I got the red wired correctly, the white I have it wired to D14 and the engine side of the wire just tucked away, than I cut and installed a 1k Ohm 1/2 watt resistor between A6 and A25.. But now I got a check engine light..it comes on 3-5 seconds after I start car and its a solid code. did I F-up?

Also, do I have to have the OE o2 still plugged in, but just off to the side?

ok it looks like the AEM uego you have only has one output which wideband. and if you are planning on using crome you won't get data logging unless you pay for the $199 license. you need to disable the oxygen sensor heater circuit in the tuning software and just run the white wire to the gauge to monitor A/F levels

remove the resistor IDK why you would need to install one in the first place. you can drive with the CEL on for the o2 sensor but vtec may be disabled

ok I see, the resistor is to prevent the code 41 check engine code for primary o2 heater. the install instructions are for someone with no engine management.

Install Manual

I only see one 0-5v output. The innovate LC-1 has 2 and they are programmable. one can be narrow and the other wide, or 2 wide, 2 narrow.

it's fine you don't need a regular o2 sensor anyway, just get crome on the ecu and disable the oxygen sensor heater circuit to get rid of the CEL and limp mode. then tune the AFR's by the feedback on the gauge.

I thought by using the D14 pin(which is 0-5v) that would be for the white wire, I have it grounded to the ECU ground, and the 12v is on the fuse box..

by connecting the white wire to the ECU it just allows you to data log the lambda reading on the ECU, without crome pro ($199) and a data logging cable ($40) you wont be able to data log anyway
