Post Civic 2002 Fuel Rail Pressure

Hi ALL!

Dear i want to know that civic 2002 Has any Fuel Rail Pressure sensor Or not? Because i did not find it in my civic. So what method they (Honda Civic 2002) are using? returning he extra fuel from rail to Tank or not?
And what is the benefit of Fuel Rail Pressure sensor?

there is no "sensor" even on older civics.

on older civics 88-2000 there was a fuel pressuer regulator on the fuel rail which ran off vacuum from the intake manifold which would return the fuel back to the fuel tank via return line.


7th gen civics have fuel pressure regulator located in the fuel tank.
There is no fuel return line on 7th gens. However some people install their own to make use on an AFPR.

as its name is, it regulates fuel pressure.

pressure will drop on idle, you dont need alot of fuel for idle.

pressure will increse when you drive...

I could be waaay off but its somthing like 3 Bar when you drive and 2 bar on idle...
