Default D17a2 vtec

From what I thought, I thought the D17A2 Vtec was like VTEC-E where it went from 3 valve per cylinder to 4.
VTEC-E (1 Intake,2 exhaust to 2 intake, 2 exhaust)

Or is it the true performance vtec oriented vtec we know as?

from what ive been told i belleive wikkako was the first to tell me this the d17a2 is officialy described as vtec and not vtec e

we are not talking about what it says on the valve cover we mean it has been said that the d17 functions under vtec and not vtec e

answer me then, why when you tear out a D17A2 it only has 2 intake lobes and not 3?

i dunno i realy am not sure all i know is from all that ive read in the past few months it has been refered to as vtec how it works im not sure i dint design it

dual vtec or normal sohc vtec head?

you can fit an older d16 head with some work (a lot work) and money...

i know on my d17a2 vtec starts at 2800rpm but why does it feel like it kicks at 5000rpm???
