Hi.I'm from HK.Start to do a DOHC ZC project really needs your help

there's is really no racing parts in hk

anyone can tell me can dohc use d16z6 or d15b vtec cam gears
or can use b16a cam gears without modification?

What enigne's manifold can use on my engine?

how can i modified h23a,b16a,h22's intake manifold to use on my car?

how can i modified b16a,h22's throttle body to use on my car?

can i use b16a's igntition coil in zc dohc?

besides, can i use d15b's piston on zc dohc? they have the same bore

Why the eingine will be broken if i use d15b piston on a ZC dohc??
thanks so much

i really really need your help
since there is lower than 10 zc engines in hong kong

someone told me that b18a,b18b,h22a,h23a,f22b,f20b intake manifold can blot on right

Welcome.

I assume there will be some problems with using other cam gears.
Manifolds would have to be machined and port matched.
Throttlebodies should bolt right up. I have a gsr tb on my d16a1.

[/IMG] Really thanks thanks and thanks to you all big brothers

there is extremely few ZC dohc engine here
not to mention any racing parts
so i don't know what is JG cam gear

it is better to use sohc cam cam gears or b series cam gear ?
d16a1 is sohc or dohc?

you mean i can use b16a tb on dohc zc?

b16a inatake maniflod can be use after porting the pipe entries?

any one know dh racing is worthy to trust or not?
besides, no body use msd product in hong kong (what a pitty) so i can't buy one

some people from taiwan said that accord coil core can change to use in dohc zc's cap

D16A1 is DOHC.
Yes you can use a b16 tb.
Not only do you have to have some move the ports but port match them. 2 Steps.
GSR is B18C.
Yes, just get a new tb gasket for it before installing it. Might want to clean it up if used/dirty as well.

there rreally isnt any intake manifold that will work with the zc motor besides the zc one and the d16a1/2/3
the b16 will not work with heavy machining and its not worth it cause the zc has very good intake manifold already

u can however port the runners and plenium of the zc intake manifold and make it even better

thanks

10 million thanks to you again

dohc has a great manifold already?
its throttle bodies is 60mm original
but my target is to get a 68- 70 mm Tb

besides, its good if i can get a b18c installed into my engine, since porting of intake manifold and tb to enlarge the lumen is limited

i wish to get a big manifold together to use with aggressive performance cams

Actually the ZC, D16A1/A8/A9 are 55mm tb. The gsr one I have is 60mm which the same for the B18B1, B20Z and the B16s. B18C5 type r and s2000 have 62mm, but are rare finds.

Stick with the ZC manifold as stated above. I love my d16A1 im, long runners and a large plenium.

Crespo makes cams in stages 4 and 5 for our application.

The aftermarket company Skunk 2 has adjustable cam gears that'll fit on the ZC. They are generically labeled as B16, B18, H23. So if you can use ebay or find a supplier that can ship them they are one option you have.

JG is another brand of adjustable aftermarket cam gear that can be used. Search for either one of those brand names on ebay perhaps or a direct supplier. Good luck on the ZC build.

Never heard of dh racing, but hey everything is worth a try if your limited.
Oh how I envy you...67mm? I can only imagine a type r tb. You should start selling some of them online!

yea
it quite strange that spoon tb from japan is 70mm, only 3 mm larger than gsr jdm tb

but why can't i use d15b's piston on dohc zc?
thanks again

Sorry to jump in on your thread cargodclub but I have a question for Chaos325, How did you get a GSR TB to fit to the ZC IM?? Is it an OBD0 or OBD1 motor?? I have an OBD0 DOHC ZC and I tried to fit a TB from a B18 and it would not fit. Do you have more info on this??
