Unhappy tranny doesn't want to work

i recently tore apart my y4f and changed out the shift fork assembly cuz one of my shift forks broke. i put it back in and it was still doing the same thing as before: the shifter would be in neutral but it would be in gear, and whenever i put it in gear it didn't want to go anywhere. can somebody please help me. i really need to get my car running.

sounds like more than the shift fork is at fault. you may want to tear the tranny apart and make sure there is nothing binding the hubs from sliding and no metal fragments.
