well, i couldnt find the big bearing splitter... and i just had to get something to do this job.

SOOOOO

i got the 3inch splitter, along with 2x 6in long x 1/2in dia bolts with accompanying nuts.

little slut popped the bearing right off. woo hoo! i finally have one of the last tranny tools i needed.

also, i now have a fully assembled 91 cable big bearing tranny, si gearing with 4.43 fd. but with an open diff

just for you, bone, ill take some when i pull the bearings off the stock diff and LSD when i go to swap it into my hydro case

if you check back in bone, i got a y8 and a z6 tranny... which should i build?

the y8 has weird detent balls i have yet to mess with, i assume those come out before i try to remove the case?

I was pretty pissed at honda until I noticed the plugs on the sides of the case.

you can see the marks on the puller where the bearing rests

all mounted up and ready to go

after a second or two with the impact
