Well since I have been back from Iraq I have put a shit ton of work and money into the crx. My goal is to break into the 11 sec barrier by this summer. I put together the Arias/Eagle zc block and just finished it up yesturday. I am gonna be getting it tuned on thurs or friday by JJspec Racing. Hoping for around 350hp on the mustang dyno. Here is what the build consists of Block:
zc 75mm block
Arias 9.1 pistons
Eagle H-beams
acl bearings Head:
z6 head
Bisimoto springs/Retainers
Bisi Cam gear
Delta 272-2 cam Transmission: Cable SI w/OBX LSD
Comp Stage 5 clutch
Turbo stuff:
Go-autoworks mini ram,downpipe and dump
Bullseye .70 ar 50trim turbo(same one as the lowball project)
Go-autoworks intercooler Electronics:
Hondata S300
Aem Wideband
Misc:
3" VRS exhaust
3" Vibrant muffler
1000cc precision injectors
Well the hotside through the frame isnt going to work due to the miniram hanging so low. So now I am waiting on a couple and some new t-bolt clamps. The engine is in and running though.
Its a damn beast man, It laughs at this clutch. I havent had to adjust for stretch at all. My pedal assembly seems to be taking the beating well so far(knock on wood LOL)
Got a dyno slot locked for tomorrow. So we shall see what she can do. Its a 3 hour haul but im sure it will be well worth it. Jimmy from JJspec racing will be tuning the car.
Dyno tuned the car today at JJspec racing, they are a great group of guys that really cater to the owner. We ended up with 302hp/262lb Tq @ 19lbs on the mustang Dyno. I figured this was enough for now. Should get me close to my goal. If not there is plenty left in her.

the dyno on that car looks great and it sounds very smooth. your gonna be happy with this man. and just as much tq as hp. gotta love it. next up.....traction, hahahahahaaa.
The torque is 250 and hp is 296, they are not the same the graph just depicts them this way. Also as Danz said there is something a up.. high end hp and torque seem to fall off to early. Torque really falls off tho. You should make hp up to and threw 7k. But very nice build bro.
I am having a little overheating issue... Hoping that a better fan and some water wetter will take care of it. It has a brand new thermo and radiator in it already.
The numbers were 302hp/262Tq on the final pull. I believe that the stock pm6 intake is the reason the TQ is falling off, if you think otherwise please tell.
I put down 318Whp, and 251 tq, but Im running 8:1 with vitara's. Thats what I made with my y8 head at least. I had similar results of stopping making power at 7k.
I would agree with Danz, cause I know for a fact my cam timing was screwed, could never get it set right with the y8 head, and D15B bottom end. Im using the Stock D15B intake and TB so maybe that contributes.
D15B head is back on now, it goes on dyno tomorrow at 10am. Ill report back and see if anything changes, see If I can help ya out

Are you having any traction issues? Can you post up a ripper video on a pull from 2nd to 4th? I wanna see how hard this thing pulls and how bad your traction is...
looking good. just gotta figure out why the numbers are droppin so fast in the top end and you should def be a lot closer to hittin your goals for sure
It is already black lol I like the endtanks the way they are. I had a little oil pressure issue happen. SOMEHOW the pressure release plug on the oilpump rattled loose and I dropped oil pressure. I shut it off immediately, Dropped the oil and pan,no shavings or damage other that the pressure relief spring. I had another spring so I swapped that out, started the car and immediately had 80lbs oil pressure. The top end seems like something is wrong though. To me it sounds like a ringing or noisey valvetrain. Kinda sucks a week out from import showdown:3dtard:
