Chris's new turbo coup - D-series.org

thats right guys i no longer have the ed. i recently picked up this coup. here is some info and the only pic i have. more to come.

ninty five black ej1 coup with all the options, ac, power locks, windows, steering. sunroof. auto page alarm system.

4th gen DOHC ZC
eagles and vitaras
fifty trim turbo setup on 10psi
open downpipe
purple top greddy type s
si tranny
red rota gt3s
tokico full coilovers

over the past couple days ive ordered and aquired alot of parts for the car.
dx tranny
comp stage 3 clutch
gm 3 bar
four fiftycc injectors
fuel pressure regulator
clear and red tailights
mugen lip

i plan to run fifteen psi on the setup by next weekend and have the new trans and clutch installed. tuned as well. next on the list will be a go-autoworks log manni with ac friendly down pipe and tial wg. after that the carshould be good to go.

Wow, really nice car. Good find. Two things though. Why go from an Si to a DX? I understand that its a daily driver but the gear ratios on the Si transmission really aren't that bad. Hell, I daily drove with a B16 transmission almost 100 miles everyday for 5 months. And are you sure 450's are going to be enough for the power you're going to make at 15psi? Seems like 550-600's would be better.

yes im sure about the dx trans, plus i got one for pretty cheep and the si thats in there now grinds. four fiftys should be good to fifteen psi. if not then ill just turn the boost down. not that big of a deal. like stated above im not looking to make a fast car out of it just have a fun daily that can get out of its own way.

i did work today, got the new clutch and trans back. my new tailights came in today as well so i put them in. also when i pulled the trans i noticed that when they did the auto to manual swap they used EK clutch lines. its nothing like the 92-95 lines they were just laying there atached to nothing, lol. so i swapped them for the right ones, pain in the ass. but all the previous drivetrain problems are fioxed now. here are a few pics.

also i decided to go a different route as far as engine setup. in a few weeks i will be pulling the zc and putting in a jdm d15b. still gonna tune on sun though. wanna have some fun with it while its in here. ill tune again when i swap.

alright guys i have a little update for you but unfortunately no pics. today i purchased a new turbo setup which consists of=
bullseye 50 trim t3 t4 turbo with polished exhaust housing
new cast manni
autoworks downpipe and dump( all ac freindly )
stealthmode oil line and firewall kit
godspeed large intercooler
new piping

also i put front skunk 2 camber arms and ingalls rear control arms and raised the car up 1.25 inches and fixed all of the alignment problems. rides like a dream now with no scrubbing. also im in the works of buying a fresh eagle vitara z6 long block. 350 hp here i come.

got some injectors today. RC 550's. all i need now is a wastegate.

all the turbo stuff came in today ****everything is ac friendly****

bullseye 50 trim w/polished exhaust housing(gonna have the compressor side polished as well)

Go-Autoworks manni, downpipe, dump and stealthmode oil line kits

put the injectors and regulator in the current setup and did a little street tune today. got rid of the fmu. new engine will be here in a few weeks so this setup will be gone. may as well enjoy it for a little while i have it though.

thanx guys, worked on the car some today and added some new parts. put new seats in it, put a set of red 16" rota gt3s on it(had 15s before) and lowered the front back down an inch. looks so much better. no pics yet, been a long day but ill have some for yall tommorow.
