ok..................so i took the car out yesterday and did a bit of driving to break it in a bit more.
while cruising i feel a shudder and then a second one and the car stalled and shut off.. after pulling over and getting my buddy to turn it over i saw the timing belt was flapping. come to find out my tensioner slipped and the timing jumped. i put the car back in time on tghe side of the road and try and start it .... no compression..... after towing the car home and setting the car at tdc i blew into the spark plug hole i feel air coming out of the exhaust port in the head. The valves are bent............. im going to pull the head later tonight and drop it off at the machine shop to have stock valves and new guides put in.. hopefully it will roll again within the next week or 2 ill post up some pics later.

so im trying to decide if i should just throw my stock valves back in or buy a new set of skunk 2's
i also decided to go a little bigger with the turbo. i was spooling the .50 a bit faster than i expected and i think i could go bigger. i came across a seller on ebay selling a full set of s2 valves for 160.. im suprised and i kinda find it hard to believe. They sell for like 360 on s2 website. check this out and tell me if it seems legit to you and im thinking ill pick one of these up as well

I didnt pay much for my S2 valve either but I got em off someone on HT or some shit like that Nate found em
That turbo will prolly run out of breathe on the top end you want to stick with the 63 hot side to be honest

i got my set from them last day ==> http://d-series.org/forums/n00b-foru...ml#post1685133
but i dont think, that they are overstock. i think skunk2 has problems with the packaging and so they sell them cheaper. the vales were packaged ind plastic bags and the bags were a little bit opended

Found a head and ordered a gaskets and new pistons from fj, had some little dimples in mine from the exhaust valves so imma slap a fresh set in.
My stuff from fj is on backorder but will hopefully be here shortly. once the gasket kit arrives ill drop the head off with the valve seals to be freshened up and ill go ahead and rock the crower springs with the stock z6 head for now to make things easier when it comes time to throw the cam in. Ive been busy and having some issues with the law lately concerning attempts to get my license back but after around 2k it looks as tho i shall have it back in a week or so.
