So while i wait.. staring at my motor on the stand, only knowing that once my manifold finally arrives from greg ill be able to get it in the car.
so i have been keeping busy with the final things that i have been putting off for a little bit like wiring. I have my harness in sort of a rough draft where its able to run the car but not quite done being wrapped up in case of needed modification in the future. I just finished running and hooking up the wires for the hi/low boost per gear switch, nitrous activation switch, also ran a wire from the wideband to the ecu. Everything in my car is done to be extreamly clean but also very functional and easy to work on. Every connection is soldered and shrink wrapped as well as a way to easily disconnect harness sections wherever most convenient. I snapped a few shots of the little switch's i have for the boost and nitrous ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

may just be the pictures but it looks like those lights are a little too distracting.

ok so since im running my injector wires through the middle of the 2nd and 3rd intake runners this might make things take a little bit longer to disassemble so i took a plug from a obd1 dizzy and added a 8th pin and used it as a disconnect for the injectors.
![]() ![]() ![]() like ive stated before clean but also functionality is a big must.

thanks guys ill post more pics when its all cleaned up.
My injectors do not require a resistor box right now but when i upgrade to something bigger in the future i may need one so im working on a way to wire in one that can be enabled/disabled with a switch or jumper somewhere in the harness so i can easily switch between low and high impedance.

Tucking always looks wonderful, but I sometimes have to wonder about the functionality of it. This seems to be a nice little innovation to add more function to the tuck!!

as for the mani i snagged a cast piece from greg like my old ebay one but hopefully this one wont have flange issues like the ebay one. I plan on running something tubular in the future but that time will most likely come when i upgrade the turbo which i do plan on doing once i find one for a steal Im finishing up the modifications on my vc and imma pick up some fittings and most likely have you weld em for me tho here soon Quote:
thanks this is exactly what im going for.. i cant see a reason for putting all this time into your car and not making it a lil easier to work on in the future while ur at it.
