You know why he hasnt been up for president because he speaks the truth. I see him speaking but there are no plans of action. i can talk till im blue in the face about whats right and wrong but with no plans of action it really dosent mean anything.

I liked everything he said but you have to be realistic. Do you really think the good ol boys in the government will let him change anything even if he did have a solid plan? They would just veto his ass and shoot everything down.

Unfortunately he is nothing more than a motivational speaker and a voice of the people. I agree with him and there will be a revolution because we are becoming a 3rd world country. We dont produce anything anymore and most of America is construction labor and we just wont go pick fields because we cant make a living on it because of the cost of living.

Once again i like Ron Paul but hes just a voice.

How can you say he's just a voice? He served on the House of Rep. and has sponsored/cosponsored quite a few bills. If you're talking about what he'd do as a President; well you have to be a president to actually do them.

Also, the media is blatantly trying to ignore him so he doesn't get much attention, but even then it's safe to assume he's pretty popular, consistently finishing in the top 2 or 3 of many polls.

Ron Paul has my vote for 2012.

Technically, Ron Paul isn't Republican(conservative) or Democratic(liberal); both parties being "center" compared to his libertarian views. It's just how the system is set up, there's practically no way to win if you're not in either party.

If he wants to audit the FED then he has my vote, the fed is the sole reason for all of our economic problems and its not gonna stop. I hope most of you know that the FED is a private bank and not a federal establishment. Also amusing to me that the CIA, FBI, Supreme court, The president of the USA etc etc is NOT ALLOWED inside the FED. Anyone else see a problem with this?

He has been trying to audit the Fed for many years now. How does a bank that has nothing federal but only its name have control of peoples money?!?! But some how, all they have to say is NO and there voice has more power then the US Gov.

If Perry's campaign implodes as some of the political commentators are suggesting, it could be in interesting romney vs Paul race.

I know some people think his shit is extreme, but that is the beauty of the republic he wants to put back in place. He is smart enough to have a hand picked cabinet of people to help ease the transition back to being a republic. He doesn't have the lightswitch ideals that many libertarians have...where if they are in power one day, the next it will be completely different.

I hate to break it to you guys but every average joe in America can vote for him but the electoral college will vote different. This is the reason why i dont vote for presidency anymore. i personally have never voted. i never really saw a reason because i didnt really thinkt hat anyone would run the country that well. when i was younger, i was a complete rebel... i questioned everything, i wanted to change the way things were, i wanted to stop all the stupid bullshit and i was very Anti-US government.

This man though, Ron Paul, is someone i can stand behind. hes the person who is calling out peoples bullshit and trying to raise the awareness of the US public that they are getting ass fucked by our own government for their own personal financial gain. He really seems like he wants to put the power back into the hands of many instead of the hands of a few and wants to share the wealth of the country instead of the lack of wealth that we have, and i fully support that.

Personally, if i had the choice, i would NOT allow SS to be pulled from my paycheck. I know that when i am at the age where i would need it, there will be nothing left, so i really dont see a reason to pay into something that i will not ever see again in my lifetime. where-as if i was to have that extra little bit of money in my hand, i would be able to buy more things and allow that money to be used to support the little guys.

Think about Tuner Toys. that company probably would have been able to stay together if we didnt have money taken out of our hard earned paychecks that we will never see again. Granted that sometimes it might only be $30 or so per check... but that still about a extra $1600-1700 a year more that you can bring home and spend on your hobbies. I also do know that it is hard for quality companies to keep competitive when you have the eBay companies out there that offer things for real cheap, especially when times get hard.. the cheaper a product is, you will most likely sell more than the big guys even though we know that they wont last as long.

enough of that though. because of Ron Paul actually starting to get listened to now, this year i am going to register and vote for him because i WANT to get someone who wants to change the country for the people instead of for themselves.
