I bet that corvette guy was pissed off, he spend over $60K on a car that a $5K-$8K Civic can walk around. What was your 60 foot times?

Work on your staging etiquette
edit: watched them again, also learn to shallow stage. I see you just roll right in and light both bulbs. If you just barely light the bottom bulb your times will be better as well as more consistent (providing you nail your shift points). double edit: what were your reaction times they look horrible in the vids. Reaction has nothing to do with your e/t but just trying to help. If you see green, you're dead LATE!! You should be launching a few milliseconds after you see the the last yellow. Its hard to describe but older bulbs are easier to react to for me. I judge when to launch by the light intensity. New LED trees have me f'd up but standard bulbs you can sort of see them heat up in a split second. That's when you launch. Right when they begin to glow not when they reach full intensity.

This video is for educational purposes lol.
ricer excuses: I was on street tires with a crappy clutch, major wheel hop then spin in 2nd and 3rd and had to get in and out of the throttle. But that's not the point. The point is the staging and launching for consistent times and good reactions while being polite to seasoned racers. (disregard the other lane as he stages just like you lol...RUDE!!) What you are looking for: HOW I stage with the e-brake. Yes the squeaking in the vid is my drum brakes. Notice how I slowly roll in to light the top bulb. Once it lights I put some extra tension on the ebrake to immediately stop any rolling (easily audible). At this point you should begin to pre-load the clutch. Bring the revs up a bit and release just a tiny bit of ebrake until you roll in and just barely light the bottom bulb. If BOTH lanes have BOTH bulbs lit now its time to bring your launch revs where they need to be (foot to the floor for most), exhale, relax and be alert. Now pay attention to the last yellow bulb and listen to where I launch in relation to that bulb. That reaction was a .012 a tad late but very very good none the less. Learn these tips and you will be on your way to a bracket car haha.
