Yes! I receive a call from my friend Pancho a few hours ago telling me he runs 4 11 sec. runs this night, from first to last: 11.93-11.91-11.86 and 11.83, three runs with 113.6mph and one of 113.9. 60 FT: 1.6
Engine still the same D16Z6 with 76mm p29's, stock stroke! 194whp running on VP fuel.

Thing must weigh nothing to trap nearly 114 with less than 200whp. Hooks nicely.

Awesome. And ive always been told that 200whp was (99%) unreachable in an N/A D, but in the past two days weve seen 2 N/A Ds with Near or more than 200whp. Fantastic Job on the 11's!

Well. It is. For a streetable application at least, which is what people have in mind when they "want more power" from an NA D. The people who want to build race motors aren't on forums asking/aren't listening to people who tell them it can't be done.

Also PR and the Philippines are mostly at sea level. North America is largely, um, not.

Also dyno numbers are incredibly unimportant. This car books harder than some "300whp" Civics I've seen. There's more to a fast car than numbers you put down on rollers.

Right i get what your saying. Someone once told me that PRs tracks are downhill but idk if its true or not. PR has always put out super fast Cars

Whats funny is that all the cars from PR when they come here to compete at Etown or Atco raceway they all break their own personal records. The tracks at PR are at sea level and flat, some of the 1/8 mile track are uphill at the end to help reduce speed at the end of the pass. Some facilities are top notch like the one in Ponce even thou they couldn't not make an NHRA aprove track cause they didn't have enough space for the whole mile (1/4 mile to run, 3/4 mile to stop) this track has its own hotel in the track as well as a water park, also Love the fact that this track I belived is concrete all the way to the 1/8 of the mile making it very fast and the fact that the stands have a roof is a big ++. as nice as they are they are not as nice as the ones here in the states.
I saw this car at the track in Ponce Puerto Rico runing in the 12's when i was in PR back in July '10, very inpressive. I was happy to find out when he told me it was a 1.6 sohc.
