Default JDM d15b vtec Honda Part Numbers (official!)

Yes, I have the hookup on any part number in the EG8 D15b vtec. (or any d-series JDM sedan). I will be listing all the important part numbers with comments where appropriate to dispel all the garbage info that people have made up or gotten from other people.

If anyone tries to order the JDM parts at a dealer, please post your experience. It would be nice to find out how to get these.

BLOCK SECTION
Block:11000-P07-800 <--- slightly different than VX
Piston set: 13010-P08-010 <--- unique to d15b vtec
oversize 0.25: 13020-P08-010
oversize 0.50: 13030-P08-010
Ring set : 13011-P08-004
Connecting rod set: 13210-PM6-000
Crankshaft:13310-P08-000 <--- completely unique
Connecting rod bearing A: 13211-PE0-003

HEAD SECTION
head assembly:
12100-P08-010 <---almost same as z6
camshaft:

14110-P08-000 <---unique! big surprise
cam pulley:
14210-PM3-000 <--- same as VX
intake valves: 14711-P08-000 <--- unique
(also 14711-p2A-000)
exhaust valves: 14721-P08-000 <--- unique
(also 14721-p2A-000)
intake v. spring: 14761-P08-003 <--- unique
exhaust v. spring:14762-P08-003 <--- unique
valve seats/retainers: same as VX

Suspension
Front springs: 51401-SR3-K01 <- seems these are the same as on the EX sedan
AND 51401-SR3-K02 - but there are two brands: Showa and Mibishi

OTHER
stock LSD unit: 41200-P20-L23
intake manifold:
17100-P08-J00 <--- practically same as z6, but missing one screw hole for purge solenoid, hence barely different part number

What else do you want?

Now for the important question, can I just go to my local honda dealer and give them these part numbers and order any of these?

you should also probably cross refrence with the known d16z6 parts to actually illustrate the diffrences

tell a mod... i lack the holy mod powers...

as far as reference z6 part #'s... I kind of did. I compared each one to the z6 (EX/Si) and the d15z1 (VX). If they matched, then I wrote it next to the part. The rods MATCH the VX part! NO THEY DON'T This is so nice in case I break one with a turbo. Chances are I'll break a piston though... too bad the pistons are unique to the d15b.

As for the casting # on the head, the part # is similar. I believe the first set of numbers is the part ID... as in what part it is... piston, rod, bolt, etc. The 2nd set of #'s is the specific type... as in z6 piston, VX piston, etc. The 3rd set of numbers is the country market. I believe U.S. only parts begin with an A... while the world market gets a 0 in front.

The head assembly is type p08, so I believe it's the same casting as the z6. However, the last 3 numbers are different, so they might have modified it slightly. Like the intake manifold, it's the same casting, but it lacks the screw hole in the back for the purge solenoid on the d15b.

Stickied!! Great stuff Makku. How about a valve seal listing? I see the seats and stems are the same but the valves are a tad different? I wonder if they are slightly larger. That D15B HAS to make its power somewhere. It can't be all cam and compression. Bah who knows atleast we are finaly getting somewhere. I'm suprized the rods are the same. If I recall correctly Mista Bone posted awhile back of a D15B rod next to a VX next to a Z6 and they were all different? Only one way to find out any volunteers?

OOOOOOPPSS!!!! The rods are actually different!! DAMN

I went back and checked... the numbers I listed are still there, but when you select the part, it gives you more options and finally gives a real part number!! So I'm wrong, but I'll fix the first post...

See...

dahh...?
i might be retarded, but 13210-PM6-000 connecting rods are z6 rods which are also used in various other motors- y5/y7/y8/a6/b2/etc

I had a feeling the rods wouldn't/couldn't be vx rods..
just didn't seem right.
someone compared(with pics) d15b and z6 rods, they were identical ...

so I wouldn't be suprized if 13210-PM6-000 are in fact z6 rods..
which makes d15b's the SHIZNIT cuz you can use whatever fucking sohc aftermarket rod you want!

can someone double check the z6 rod partnumber so we can confirm this?!?!

I didnt think you could use eagle rods for a z6 on a d15b... if you can well i might just have to get on sleeved... from what i understand you can only use the crower rods and they run like $700 (please prove me wrong =D)
