This particular style Moroso pan has never had a fitment issue on the Bs, your thinking of the other pan that takes the new sump and all for the 96-00. This one is like the B pan, perfect fit (I've used the B one many times)

Good question.
It is designed to work with either according to moroso. As long as you keep the pickup w/ the matching block (zc pickup w/zc block, a6 pickup w/a6 block etc)

x3 - Me too... But the y8 has additional transmission mounts which probably stiffen the entire assembly. It would be nice if moroso could have those mounts on their y8 pan if they made one...
