Timing Problem...I Think? - D-series.org

i have a little problem ever since i changed my timing belt.i think i may have moved the crank off of tdc when i was putting the belt on the cam gear.it idles a little low(500rpm)and it kinda bogs a little ever couple seconds. it also has a very slight knock too. any help?

set cyl 1 at TDC, and see if the cam matches up along with the crank..

i was going 2 do that but i want 2 make sure thats what the problem is.

The only way to check is to go to cylinder one on compression stroke and see if the crank pulley mark is on correct mark as well as the cam sprocket is pointed to the correct mark. Doesn't take long and sounds exactly what your problem is.
