Default Need Help On What Next
Got a D16A6, decieded 2 keep it and not do a b-series swap. anyways what sould i do performance wise next. i'm thinking headers and cat-back exhaust.any sug?

you can build a 175HP N/A D16a6 for a chunk of change....

about the same as either a used turbo kit, or supercharger.

supercharged D16a6 could yeild 200-250hp

and of course turbocharged you can hit 300hp.

but if you want CHEAP.... like $1000 cheap.

i'd say you'll only hit around 175-250. with any of those combinations.

if its all out DRAG.... go for turbo. (peak HP and TQ)

but for a good road course (or street car) a supercharger might be good for you.


if you really want cheap. the little blue backback is always my favorite.

ive had it on a lot of cars, when i didnt have much money, but wanted power.

NO, but it really doesn't sound like you know a whole lot. 250-300whp is a lot. First your not going to see anything close to that N/A. The only way to hit those #'s is rebuild the bottom end with forged internals and boost like 20psi.
