quick gasket kit compatability quesion.

Sorry if this has been discussed, I searched for a while but couldn't find anything.

I recently Ordered a complete top-end gasket set for my 90 CRX HF (D15B6) and when I got it it was tagged "for D15B8 1992+".

I know the head gasket, intake and exhaust mani gaskets would work, but aren't all of the valve cover gaskets (around the spark plug holes etc.) different? or are they pretty much the same? I don't want to open the package until I know for sure because once I do I'm screwed.

i would say take it back and get the correct one because the d15b8 is a 8v motor and does have a few differences between the that and the 16v motor...

The D15B6 is an 8V motor as well.

Funny thing is, this kit has 16 valve seals in it

the only gaskets that would be different are the intake manifold amd throttle body gaskets.

Dunno if the HF uses smaller intake runners, but I do know the TB has a different bolt pattern.

I allready have another TB gasket and for the price I got this for I don't mind running to the parts store for an Intake mani gasket if I need one.
