weak window regulator - D-series.org

my driver side window regulator is getting weak. when you shut the door, the window falls a little. is there a way to tighten it or does it need replaced. my windows are manual, not electric.

replace it. i got both sides online for the same price as the dealer wanted, did both at the same time, and think it's probably the best $130 I ever spent. My windows are smooth as silk and I don't worry about the glass falling out of the track anymore

where is the best place to buy them I am having the same issue?

thanks for the advice. was it a pain to do. i have done it on a camaro, but not a honda. are they riveted in.

just look around online and compare. I did Hondapartsdeals.com but some people swear by Majestic Honda. I got both pass and driver for what my local dealer wanted for just one side.

No it's pretty easy. Having a friend help hold the window up and steer it in makes it way easier, but you can just tape the glass up if you're all alone. It's literally a half dozen 10mm bolts, really easy once you see it up close. Getting the old regulator out is probably the worst part

its prob for the 96-98 chassis.i did mine and i got the part from honda.was about 120.00.CAD

there anywhere from 85 to 95 and they aren't hard to replace.
