Default S2000 steering wheel into ek

I bought an ap1 s2k steering wheel and airbag for 175.00 it looks great, but the bad news is when i went to take the airbag out the inflator isn't there(the airbag was never deployed), so im guessing it was removed for whatever reason. So my question is where can i find just the inflator, or can i even buy one by itself, is there another vehicle that has the same mechanism?

there is a thread somewhere in the faq at s2ki.com that goes through a step-by-step on removing the steering wheel. i'd start there and identify what it looks like, if its even there, etc. the technology in my s2k is entirely different than my other hondas...

i'm a paid member over there so if you need help finding one in the classifieds over there i'll be glad to help. they're open to the public, but sometimes n00bs take a beating. oh wait, you're a n00b here too...

You might check and see if the inflator is the same part number as other Honda's. You might get lucky and the cross-reference checks out.
