What other way would you set valve lash without a feeler gauge? Just curious, sounds like you are saying there is another way.

^ thats how i did my s-10's engine when i rebuilt it. No feeler gauges needed.
When i read it in the manual, i was like "wtf?" Seems like a sloppy way to do it, but it works. |
