Default Dam Clutch Slipping now

What are u guys over the 400whp running as far a clutch. I'm at the same boost level (18lbs)as before the mainfold change, but i guess i have a few extra pony's cause my spec stage 5 is slipping in 3rd and 4th.

Anyone have any opinions on a twin disc set up.
Spec, Competion Clutch ,Clutch Masters

thanks for any help

search?

transmission and clutch section would have been better place to ask.

Spec makes a twin disc, but be prepared to spend 1200 big ones.....

Id looke into a LSD Motorsports 385 ft lb clutch if your making close or over 400whp. I run it on the street, it holds like a charm @ 300ft Lbs tq (at the wheel) and is EASY to drive on every day.

i suggest LSD and clutch masters for higher hp applications. competition does well itself, but for a single disk the clutchmasters fx400 or fx500 (fx500 is a race only clutch according to them), but they will hold up to high hp/tq applications.

The Competition Clutch STG V I was using worked great for 400+ whp and ~330 ft lbs.

my old setup ran a clutchmasters 4 puck with a stage 4 pressure plate. Never slipped.

comp clutch stage 5 unspring 4 puck.

it will hold anything you can throw at it. for a while. i got 10,000km out of my longest lasting one and then the ceramic pucks turned into liquid.

but that 10,000km also included almost 400 hits on the drag strip
