JRSC
Preparation Tools Required: 10mm wrench, gear wrench and ratchet(1/4' and 3/8') 12mm wrench, gear wrench and ratchet(1/4' and 3/8') 14mm wrench, gear wrench and ratchet(1/4' and 3/8') Screwdrivers flat heads and phillips all the sizes you have Needle nose pliers Pliers Channel locks Vise grips Universals (1/4' and 3/8') Cutting wheel or reciprocating saw(modify intake piping) From the Parts Store Antifreeze Oil and filter Brake Clean 3 ft 5/16' heater hose 5 ft 3/8 vacuum 5 ft 1/4' HP Fuel line 2ft 5/8 Coolant line Throttle Body Gasket 8x12.5x35mm grade 8 bolts from Hardware store preferably with a 12mm head on them Washers(only required w/ the hondata intake manifold gasket) Intake Manifold Removal (making space for the supercharger) 1. Removed belts 2. Removed intake piping 3. Removed Throttle cable from intake manifold 4. Removed coolant and vacuum lines going to intake manifold and sensors attached to manifold 5. Remove Intake manifold brace 6. Disconnect all wires connecting to manifold and sensors attached to manifold 7. Disconnect fuel line connecting the fuel filter to the fuel rail 8. Label and disconnect fuel injector harnesses(removal metal clips before pulling the harness) 9. Remove Fuel Rail bolts 10. Disconnect Wiring harness bracket by the strut tower(makes more slack for the injectors) 11. Remove fuel rail 12. Remove Intake manifold bolts 13. Remove Intake manifold 14. Remove Intake manifold Gasket 15. Clean remaining gasket off of the head JRSC Install 1. Install Hondata Intake manifold gasket 2. Install JRSC onto the head 3. Install New bolts w/ washers(if you have the 14mm heads; take them to the grinder and knock a side down to fit between runners) 4. Re-Connect all sensors 5. Route new hoses to fit 6. Install new vacuums lines 7. The rest is pretty much reverse of the install If your are using the JRSC kit to control timing and fuel then j/ follow their instructions I used chrome boost tables with the FMU and runs great

I have the high boost pulley and it just so happens to push almost ten psi.
If you look around on here people played around with different pulleys to up the boost.

In your last pic, it looks like your sockets are a little too close to the battery =\
I remember this one time i was tightening one of the ground bolts and my wrench hit the positive terminal on the battery... My finger was bleeding for quite a while Anyways Nice SC man. |

lol, I understand exactly why you asked that.
I'd ask the same question.... I had trouble getting the laptop to connect the ecu. Initially I had a basemap that was less then desirable but good enough to drive temporarily. I am pretty sure I have a bad solder somewhere on the board. The ECU is chipped so in order to make it work without having to use Jackson Racing timing box, I set the chip to stock p28 with the injector adjustment. 2.5 bar motorola, and boost tables to take care of timing in boost. The FMU takes care of the fuel. I have another chipset coming from xenocron so I can make another pass at it, and hopefully get a better tune out of it. It runs pretty well, but I am more then certain there is room for improvement with a better tune. What motor are you running in the CRX? Just curious if it's the a6

UAXI,
I was thinking of running a long resonator also.. Mine is really loud with the header back setup. It sounds great, but D@mn is it loud. How did it sound after installing that thing.

I did, I just used the FMU to take care of the fuel
while in boost since I had no way to monitor it.

Thanks
To me figuring things out is half the fun, especially when you have the Eureka moment. It is certainly nice to have some help along the road though. So I found an old word document I had started a year ago when I did the install and figured it would be nice to anyone left who is still interested in a similar project.

Have at it, Pick up a cheap z6 y7 y8 transmission and you'll have a fun street
car. Don't feel bad about the mileage, I swear as long as you change the oil on these motors they run forever. If you burning any oil right now I would advise against it. Mine ended up getting so bad after boosting It stained my rear window and bumper. A friend of mine gave me a y7 block out of his ek w/ 200k on it(no smoke) runs great with no oil burn.

you don't. I had to because I can't solder apparently. The chip receiver worked
but i can't connect with my laptop. In order to drive the car in the meantime I ran a p28 basemap flashed for the bigger injectors/ map sensor and boost tables to take car of timing in boost. The fmu is for the fuel during boost. It is a temporary but very effective fix until I get my new kit in. I didn't want use the JRSC stuff that's why I compromised in the meanwhile. It would be a lot of additional work if I plan on using crome.
