well i think i got the coolant issue solved.
since i was smelling hot coolant a lil while i was driving around i knew it was a hose or something. well today at taco hell i noticed a puddle under my car. well the hose that had a tiny hole in the hose that goes right under the dizzy. it ripped enough to find where the leak was. drove a whole block to my work from taco bell and just cut the end off and put it back on. also replaced the top rad hose since it was starting to swell a bit.
so we will see if it takes care of it.

well i fixed the leak but still having coolant problems. just going to go ahead and change the HG. and its smokin oil smoke to the turbo is prolly bad. but alot of it might be the HG since it almost smells like a lil coolant in the smoke but its oil smoke aswell.
just a pain in the ass.

well newest update.
changed the HG last night. took about 2 1/2 hours to do. took some photos while doing it. and so far it seems to be okay but havent made any boost on it. going to go through a few heat cycles then retrq the head.
but. the turbo is def bad. smokin still and there was oil in the turbo when we took it off. so hopefully order a new one here this week.

Hey its ok. Good thing you were paying attention or you wouldve been changing more then a head gasket. We've all made that kind of mistake once. So learn off it and don't let it happen again.

ya i was just standing there watchin over it and noticed oil gettin closer and closer to my shoes. was like whoaaaa. ran to the door and turned the car off. and new exactly what i did. def good like i didnt go inside or something

i ordered a restrictor thinking this is my problem. its smokes while driving badly but at idle its not bad. just when its got the rpm's up.
same exact symptoms as my 15g had when it was bad.

yes gettin the same exact turbo. so i dont have to get a retune since i just payed for a tune and have put maybe 150 miles on it and 80 was the drive home.

if the restrictor comes first il put that on and see if it stops the smoking a bit on this one.

just going to hang on to it and maybe get a better wheel put into it for later use. we will just see.

you need a restrictor with a -4 line, especially with a ching chong meow turbo

thats why you are smoking. if you get a restrictor now, you can probably save the turbo

One more word of advice take that cheap filter off I have seen the little metal piece in the metal get sucked into the turbo and totally destroy the turd
