Default turbokill electronic kill switch

What do you guys thing about this? Either magnetic, rfid, or remote.

I emailed the guy and he said it's only available on ebay and it's basically a starter kill only. I'm pretty sure you can wire it anywhere you want. This could probably be a good "invisible" layer. This and neptune RTP anti-theft is what I'm considering.

How much he want because I made this crap all day long and its pretty cheap. You cant start my car without entering a 4 digit code. Did my friends to an rf id tag with push button. We removed the key all together.

IIRC it was like 80+ for the rfid and 100+ for the remote. I'm pretty sure components are cheap. I suck at electronics though.

Yea those I used before. Works great just only have a 3inch range.
Most of my stuff is on prototype boards unless im installing it for someone. I can help u out with a mini diy, but if u dont know wiring it wont help to much.

But basiclly use that rfid as a toggle switch for a starter killer replay.

Yeah I pretty much just want to copy what the turbokill does for 1/2 of the price. I just emailed the seller of that item and we'll see what his response is. Since it comes with 3 modules, I can probably hook it up to different locations as well to kill different things! The sellers home page for that item is this

DIY RFID kill switch - MatthewRichey.com

He even has a diagram for a time delay, but since I don't know shit about electronics, I don't really understand.

thats child play. He uses a 555timer which does time delay. I used one before for a push button start system. Single button no toggles push to start push to turn off.

Learning circuits are great because it lets you do alot more then what they where made for.

You can try to look on Car Alarm, Car Stereo, Mobile Video, and Cruise Control Info for Installers for more infor on wiring and basic circuit.

But just look up starter disable/ kill switches. Most of them have an input 12volt to disable them. All your going to do is take the output wire of the rfid and connect it to that kill switch. So when the rfid is within range it disable the kill switch then you start the car and everything is good till you turn off the car and it rearms itself.

I make keypads tho because there user programmable codes that you can change on the fly and cost around $5 to make without box relay.
