Default Speedo issue

this is interesting to say the least, my odometer still works while driving down the road but the needle for the mph is stuck under the resting pin at zero.

i've searched multiple times and found many pages about the speedos having a common problem, but i wasnt too sure if my speedo was fried because the odo is still turning.

Think if i take off the trim and turn the needle around to the correct side it might fix it? This cluster is only in here until i get a tach cluster to swap in. But until that point it'd be nice to know how fast im goin... ya know?

Thanks for any help
-Nick

ok. just baffled me a little that the ODO would turn over but the speedo wasnt workin... and since it would move off the floor with the key on, it didnt quite seem like the tension was shot...
thanks.

i dont think it's worth it to tear into it now and then again to do the cluster swap, when i et ready to swap inthe tach cluster, ill fiddle with it and see if the needle just needs reset, andthen i can sell the old cluster accordingly...
