i kno the asr brace is all u need. and the beaks piece isnt gonna do nothing but look good. i was thinkin about gettin it for the looks. not the performance upgrade! lmao

if i had the cash, i would do both also. i would only do it for the bling/drool factor. but would definatly have to match the arms in color, like the teg. but then i would have to "clean up" the rest of the car and thats way too much effort.

"pointless" is a very broad word, since it does have a point. which was mentioned above your post and below it.

If a part isn't going to serve a purpose, besides to look like you spent more money than you needed to, why not just duct tape a stack of bills under there, and go ballin' out of control!?!:mikej:

Seriously, nearly everyone has "pointless" modifications on their car. Really, how many of us on this site that have lips that serve an ACTUAL purpose? EK Si lips go for 140-200 shipped all day long, but really, do they serve a purpose other than aesthetics? The beaks lower bar is 100 shipped. In fact, I want one myself.. Have for the longest because I feel that the rear of my car doesnt look nearly as good as the front side. Eventually, when I get some extra pennies, I will get one.

Its what YOU want to do with your car that makes it yours and personal. H2B, do what you want to do, its your car man :TU:

oh and btw, your B&M short shifter is pointless since you can't change how fast the transmission shifts, no matter how fast you pull/push on the shorter shifter.

It just seems redundant, and using that reasoning I would think it looked silly to have both the ASR brace AND the beaks bar, it would look worse to me, not better. To each their own, build your car for you, but adding a part that serves no purpose other than to look flashy is not modding your car for you, it's modding it for others, and more is not always better IMO.

My B&M dual bend short shifter is a mod that puts a smile on my face every time I drive my car, as it changes the way you interact with the car. I would liken the dual brace setup more to dual exhaust on a civic than I would to a short shifter, redundant, just for looks, and in questionable taste.

Ricer! j/k Personally I wouldn't do it because there is very little, if any, performance gain from it. Plus I don't like the way the Beaks bar looks.
