I've always liked PBR Metal Masters, there are performance shoes out there but I don't remember who makes them A quick search and you should be able to find them though.

Adaptive one brake pads. Worth every penny. I will buy them again and again. I live in MN, never squeeked in the cold. Always stop me right now.

I ran HPS followed by HP+, and the dusting and squealing with HP+ gets a little annoying for a DD. HPS is good compromise, still offering outstanding performance for weekend race events.

EBC Greenstuff dusted and wore really fast when I had them, they stopped amazingly, but for the price of them, they were gone way too fast to be worth the price.

personally, hawk hps pads and brembo slotted rotors. iirc, it comes out like $10-20 more then stock pads and blanks. <- sorry i don't remember. i have been running the same set-up for brakes for the last 3 years. yeah, still have 1/2 the pad left. :TU:

o also forgot to mention, i believe they're a lil pricey but look into Carbotech ive heard great reviews from some road racers.

atm ive got the HP+ pads, and i havent noticed any squeling at all, they also went on freshly turned blank brembo's, did you brake em in corectly? i would relate the squeling to a glazing of the pad. as for the dust, i really dont have anything to compare em to.

X2

Hawk HPS
Cobalt GT-Sport
Axxiss Ultimates

All good compounds for the front.

FOr the rear contact Porterfield, ask for their R4S compound for the rear shoes.

I have a set of their rotors that i just put on my car. so far so good, but once auto-x starts up i will let you know how they feel. I also have satisfied brake pads, they are just their OEM pads, but they stop real good.

Just say no to EBC Green or Reds.

Watch a GSR at Mid Ohio go thru a set of Greens in two 30 minute sessions, the Reds lasted 3 sessions.

Raybestos top of the line would last 3-4 weekends :)

Raybestos...I think I have some carnage from those on my right front rotor. (Unless my caliper seized up) Pics next week when I get the replacements.

I have axxis ultimates with a fastbrakes front 11" set up on the front and a DA teggy rear swap stops like a biotch but these are the most dusty pads ever wash the car and 2 days later the wheels are filthy and not in the new cool way
