hey i got a 1986 dohc zc any one reccomend the best tranny for one orr b/c i am leaking tranny fluid orr who builds zc trannys or what not orr oem parts ? thank you angelo

ok soo i took my rex out for a rip today for the first time in lik months since after i repainted it and i rip it down the block and b/c i am missing a bolt in my tranny mount the motor slaps up and down a lil soo when i let go of the gas u push the clutch in well i go down the block ... rip on it lil 1st and 2nd and next thing i kno i am pissing fluid every were.... so after i put it away let her sleep for a few hours i get in and in the the middle of the fork i check makeing sure its in nutral and its sounds nasty i look under and is it possable it was coming from the shift shaft on the tranny lik a bad oil seal or something ... i will jack it up tomm and keep the up dates up and will have pictures...angelo

Have a mod move this to the tranny forum, you may get someone there to help. It might get overlooked here in the DOHC area.

you already have a stout tranny, only option is a B16 Quaife Houseman kit, choice of FD, but you's better have DEEP pockets before going that route.

ATLEAST $2,000......and that would only be a small drop in the bucket!

Nice, haden't even looked. Sounds like I need to look at the User CP a bit more.
