Well, tonight was an eventful night. I went out cruising to the gas station and left early because my buddies weren't there yet. As I pulled out a black 6g ex coupe turbocharged and a b16 turbo crx followed me out. We drove for a while, the two of them taunting me (blowing off, etc), but I was reluctant to go - my car has been overheating terribly when I hit ANY kind of boost. I replaced the thermostat, but that didn't solve the problem. I think it's the headgasket (as I doubt it's the waterpump). Anyway, the crx drops to 2nd and holds it there. I drop to 2nd and hit it. I pulled him about 3 or 4 cars to the top of third. After the run, I found out he was running a b16 (built bottom end) with a T3 at 8 psi. I was stoked. I've been wanting to see how my car would hold against a F/I b-series. Anyway, just thought I'd share.:)
BTW - I drive an '89 Civic DX hatch gutted, y7 block/a6 head, Si tranny, mpfi, Exospeed cam, SRR suspension, Apex'i turbo kit - 10 psi, johhnyracecar fmic, Hallman mbc, DSM 450s, SAFC, Apex'i dual chamber bov, Magnaflow cat, custom 2.5" exhaust through a Borla XR-1
