lol , prolly buy some cheap springs off ebay  . what i want to do tho, and i have an 89 hatch also is get a set of either skunk2 coilovers or neuspeed race springs and a set of kyb agx shocks. ill prolly go with coilovers just because i want to have the option of adjusting height if i need to for some reason. hope that helps. however...my idea was not the cheapest, cheap would be a set of lowering springs off ebay and running stock shocks...would but a bouncy ride from what i understand tho.

the cheapest thing to do would be to cut your stock springs. all it'll cost you is time

yeah, cut the springs, but only if you are into the bouncy ride and blown shock scene...

how much do you want to lower? Do you want good handling, or you want your car to have that "slammed" look?

Leave the springs alone, just take them out and put them in a dry and warm place. This is the cheapest way in my eyes.

Heating the springs to lower the car is easy also, i did this in HS with my 82 Corolla 1.8 RWD. [what a fun car] But that ride was so dam hard and it really kept me looking for the next restroom.

Cutting the springs is to much work if you ask me.

The best way is the most expensive way, go and get what is needed, new springs and shocks...or the mostest bestest way: coil-overs, bucks delux

i payed $150 bucks for a 2 inch drop on my civic dx, installed and everything, only took the shop 25 minutes ... thats not a lot of money or alot of time .. 2 inches is good for street .. gotta watch speed bumps if u have any exhaust that hangs low ... especially the apex n1

You can always go to a junkyard, or an auto salvage and look for some, most of the time you can pick up a full set in good shape for 20-30 dollars.

just get adjustible springs " coil overs " without the struts it will fuck the struts you have up but if you are like me I like feeling the ground, i like the bouncing, and if you do it right you dont really have anything to worry about. Well you could be like this kid with a neon in town and just take the spring out and ride on struts...... it is your car

Hrmmmm.. if your a low baller then you should go with this setup. 94+ Integra Rear springs and 94+ Integra performance springs. This will give you a nice drop. This is with no cutting involve. Unless you like cutting. :P

This setup will give you 2-3 fingers all the way around. If you have a system then it's 1 1/2 fingers(Index + Pinky) for the Fronts & 2 fingers in the rear. If you like to load up people then it's 1 finger for the Front & 1 1/2 fingers in the rear. Be sure to check your camber and toe.
