Cheap Power

Hi everyone

Im new to the forum and have just bought myself a really cheap civic ferio with the d16z6 engine.

What is the cheapest mods i can do to this to release some power from the engine?

Also why is the engine check light showing? evrything is running fine and their is no power loss.

check engine light means that: check the engine. there could be a myriad reasons why the light tripped. diagnose it. on your mods questions: do us a favor and use the search button before asking.

X3 but maybe with an exhaust return line into the cabin to make you feel like you are going faster? Oh wait that feeling would be from the passing out from the asphixiation, which would in turn allow you to realize as you fly though the windsheild after hitting that guardrail at 120 and slide flamming halfway across gods breakfast table that, hey, wait.... I shouldn't do anything to my car until I read,comprehend, and maintain the car first =D

Though seriously go get that thing to a mechanic and have them throw a scanner on it and find out what code it is, if its really old it could be Cat converter or IACV etc etc.

Yeah my CEL is always an o2 code. How do you clear a code on OBD1, do you have to do it with a reader or can you just pull the hazard fuse for a second like i do on my obd0?

just fix the problem if it doesnt clear pull the battery terminal for a couple min
