Anyone have some numbers, such as dimensions..for all 4th gen civics. (Hatch and sedan are what I need, wagon and crx would be good to know as well)
I have an 88-91 Hatch exhaust laying around, I want to know what I need to do to make it fit the sedan.

Just off the top of my head:
-I believe the hatch b-pipe is a few inches shorter.
-I believe the axle-back portion is basically the same except the sedan has longer tips.

IIRC hatch and CRX are the same as are wagon and sedan.

Yea, but where are they longer exactly, lol. I need to know where I have to add length, so I can just take my exhaust to my uncle's house, and have him weld it, then take it home and install it.

You could jsut do what I did to make my cat to axel section, jack the car up and see where it fits. I'm going to guess the length is added at the front.

which reminds me, the catalytic converter welded to the exhaust is an old POS, and it is probably worthless...especially where it leaked out.
Damn it, also reminds me of the shifter, that exhaust banged on the shifter and rattled like fucking crazy!

Then just buy a test pipe and modify it fit.

test pipe is not emissions legal, sorry, but no dice.*
*i'll keep my stock pipes/cat for that one time every 2 years...

Don't worry I keep my cat because I don't have a muffler.

I am having this problem too. I went to a different short-shifter when I swapped and I have had to beat in the exhaust with a ball-peen hammer to clear the shifter. Fortunately, my exhaust is a custom job from a local shop..no expensive stainless or anything. I got it so I still rattle just a bit in reverse, and at certain RPM's in 5th, but usually OK for everyday commuting.:hammer::hammer:

yeh i had the same prob. when i put the short shifter on....i just took a sawzaw and trimmed off where the shifter was hitting my exhaust ..trim the shift linkage, but not too much to where it weakens the lever
