ok i just put the zc motor in to my friends car and the axles dont seem to fit properly( as if the splines on the axle are too small) so i was wondering which axles to use. By the way the car is a 94 4 door civic and it came with the d15b8 i think. any help would be excellent

to use the ZC transmission, you would also need to use the ZC intermediate shaft - if you used the 88-91 ZC intermediate shaft, you would need 90 & up Integra passenger side axle and 90-93 Integra driver's side axle - if you used the 92-95 ZC intermediate shaft you would need 90 & up Integra passenger side axle, but you would need a custom axle for the driver's side - the 94 & up Integra driver's side axle will not work with the 92-95 ZC intermediate shaft (the axle is too long)

how do u tell if its an old zc or a newer one and the intermedite is the longer one rightthe intermediate shaft bolts to the back of the block with one end in the transmission - the driver's side axle then becomes almost equal in length to the passenger side axle with the splines on the inner CV joint connected to the intermediate shaft - the 88-91 ZC intermediate shaft has a female end where the male end on the axle fits in - the 92-95 has a male end where the female end of the axle fits - the 88-91 intermediate shaft looks like the one on the left and the 92-95 looks like the one on the right
