My Comptech rear sway bar/subframe brace has be squeaking and rattling for a while so I figure it's time to replace the bushing and heim endlinks. I want to get some better bushings, like maybe Energy Suspension ones, and maybe replacement endlinks from Comptech.

Anyone using the ES bushing? or heim endlinks? What advice do you experts have regarding choices, and what's the best?

Thanks, Jim

es bushings can be had from ebay.. they sell universal ones .. you just need to make sure the diameter of the bushing and the bracket size works for you

Yeah I've got to measure and see which 22mm one to get. The ES universal bushings also have a grease fitting option. Would those be any good?

The original Comptech installation had some white tape to wrap around the bar where the bushing were so the tape acted like a lubricant. Somewhere I read the ES bushing material had graphite in it. Is that true? Would that mean no more grease or other lubricant needed?

The thing is the endlink holes on the Comptech sway bar are horizontal like this >> not vertical like ^^ oem.

Thanks, Jim

Only certain black energy suspension bushings have the impregnated graphite

the hole for the grease is so you can re-lube it with out taking it off.. but you need some sort of pump to inject it..

its not that hard to remove and regrease it i think.. i just picked up a set on ebay not too long ago for like $25 shipped or something.. and it got to my place in 3 days.. quick turnaround

Autozone carries special bushing grease from prothane or ES. Look next to their bushing section. Get that stuff to reduce the squeaks.

Edit here it is:
Prothane Bushing Grease 3-Pack
Part #: 19-1750

Prothane Super Grease contains versatile water-proof, non-melting Teflon and is formulated to seal out water and to lubricate under the most adverse conditions. Its superior adhesive and extreme pressure qualities, combined with its urethane compatibility makes it the only one to use. One kit contains 3 tubes (approx 1/2 oz. total), enough to do any bushing install kit.

i'd go with polyurethane ones, or even step it up to a bigger aftermarket sway bar.
