The d16a1 from the 86-97 teg will drop right in. 88-89 teg's have different mounts on the block

the D tranny will work just fine. Why would you have to change suspension???

well i heart that when using the motor i have to change from the tranny axels shift link and all the front suspention from the integra . is it worth swaping the d15a3 for the d16a1 ? or is it anything that i can do with the d15 engine?

the 86-89 Integra D16A1 will bolt right into your 87 Si - you will need to use the Integra transmission, intermediate axle shaft, front knuckles/hubs and shift linkage - all of that bolts right in since the early Integra and the 1st gen CRX used the same chassis platform - the least amount of work would be to use the 86-87 D16A1 since it uses the vacuum advance ignition like your Si - you would need the 86-87 Integra ECU - the 88-89 D16A1 used electronic ignition advance and using it will result in you needing to add wiring for it and using the 88-89 Integra ECU - although it is a little more work, using the 88-89 engine is the better option since it has about 5 more horsepower and a better intake manifold and throttle body set-up - it is also a better engine all things considered - the D15A3 that came in your car is not like any other D-series engine

is it any other option available apart from changing everything from the integra chassis?

No, not really. A freind of mine did all this to drop a built B. If he would put a week or so of work into it, the car would be a freaking monster.
Anyway, the DOHC D in the CRX is really worth the trouble. It is a lot more fun and will really chage teh character of the car in a good way.

Heres a writeup I found on rpr.com. A little searching goes along way, especially when countless others have already traveled the path.
