going from auto to manual

just wanted to be sure of everything i need to make a tranny swap and go from a bit shitty auto tranny to a JDM ZC DOHC tranny...ok i know the usual...

clutch kit
flywheel
clutch cable
tranny with shifting linkage
pedal assembly(waiting 4 it to b delivered, bought it on ebay)

a couple of q's i have

do i have to make a ecu upgrade?
how difficult it is to swap the pedals assembly?
any other thing i might need ..i will apreciate the info!!!!
