I believe im running rich. lol
450 cc injectors, stock cams....
Its a good thing I run rich right? 12.6:1 compression an 93 octaine dont mix well if I dont rich correct?
and am I loosing performance because of how rich I run? A friend of mine stuck his hand at my exhaust and when I hit launch control, I let off the gas, and a bunch of it flew on my friends hand...
Im only getting 260 miles per tank. :D.. You guys think I should get a bigger set of cams (because the car was tuned to run Comp Cams Stage 2 cams) or go to the dyno and get a tune?

^What tank you got? I've got a VX 9 gal and I only get 230/240 w/ the new O2 sensor.

I have a crx.
My modifications are...
B18a1 block, Painted blue,
P30 pistons,
new rings,
acl race bearings,
b16a oil and water pumps
B16a head shaved .012, ported, polished, with valve work
ARP rod bolts
Golden Eagle Head studs
KMS Dual Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers
GSR cams
Skunk2 Cam Gears
Unorthadox Underdrive crankshaft pully
dsm 450cc Injectors
all of that isnt nesscery, but I just coppied and pasted it.

Sweet smell means coolant is burning. Unless you have a coolant leak dropping on your exhuast manifold, you probably have a blown headgasket.

humm. Bad compression in one of the cylinders could do that huh?
It tested 190, 185, 160, 180

Hmmm, try retesting the compression, I've heard small differences like that can just be one cylinder has more carbon build up than the next. I COULD BE WRONG THOUGH, just thinking outloud.
Are you sure you are running rich? Is there black shit building up around your muffler area? Does your exhaust smell like gas? is there ever any smoke? If it's white-ish, it's burning coolant, if it's blue-ish (like, any blue tint), it's buring oil, and if it's dark, you are probably running rich.
As for tune vs cams, it depends on what you can afford I guess. Cheapest way would be to just re-tune, because even though it's tuned for stage 2 cams, you'll still want to retune after changing the cams just to make sure you AFRs are good, ya know?

so your running 12:6.1 compression and only getting 190, 185, 160, 180 psi?
man i rebuilt my engine the other day and im at 11:5.1 and all four cyl are getting 240psi crank pressure after a 5 minute warmup.
if your engine has bad rings or boring, or headgasket or valve seals or just doesnt like u, that could be the cause.
but ill tell u what i want you to do,
get your compression tester, clean the screw section, and add alittle wd40. tighten it good when doing a compression test. i know from personally experience, any dirt or not screwing in properly could cause incorrect readings, even not having the throttle open, also disable your ecu by unpluging it, you dont want fuel being sprayed in the cyl while doing your compression test.

:noway: never did it like that.. I take out all the sparkplugs and do 1 cylinder at a time
The car has to be at normal running temp, right?

well der 1 cyl at a time, you only have 1 compression meter? remove all your spark plugs, put a screw driver to hold open the throttle. kick it over and watch your gauge, after it hits its highest climbing point keep kicking it over for 3 more seconds. then give us the reading.

Will go. be back with the readings in 7 minutes.
