is it bad to not use just one of the manifold bolts?? when i unscrewed all the bolts that bolt the manifold down, one of the studs actually unscrewed and the bolt stayed on it. i cant get the bolt off and the way the manifold is, i cant fit the stud to go in. can i get away without it or will i jsut have a phatty exhaust leak?

exhaust mani - not so much of a big deal, exhaust leak maybe
get a new stud
you could use another nut and screw it up against the nut that is stuck. use 2 wrenches and unscrew it. happens all the time, get that fixed so you do not have a chance of it leaking.

that's your best bet. or just hit up napa for a new stud.

yea FYI... it can do more than an exhause leak...the cylinder can actually pull air in and you could burn an exhaust valve...
