my crossmember owns me

so im finally putting my turbo in right...the install is going smooth. someone said that the greddy turbo wastgate arm in going to hit my fan, but it doesnt, i get it to fit but its snug though:TU: i change my oil pan, intercooler is finally done, and run my oil lines. i finally get to the downpipe(which i regret not doing first before anything) and my kteller 2.5 inch downpipe seems a little too big and has a hard time getting through. it connects to the cat fine but doesnt align all the way with the manifold. the crossmember is blocking it. i figure it was becasue the manifold wasnt bolted down, just resting there. so i tighten everything down and try again, still no go. so i get the greddy downpipe which there is the same problem. i stayed up all night with that shit and had to take everything back off and put the n/a stuff back on so i could go to work this morning. all i need is a few more inches...lol..what guy doesnt, j.k. so yeah, my turbo is still taunting me even more because its just staring at me now. sorry for the long post, i needed to vent.

Actually I have a modified 15g downpipe a customer left with me that is "supposed" to clear the stock crossmember. He left it with me and I replaced his on his car. It's ugly but has the extra bend in it that should work if you want it.

Also, the wastegate arm usually hits the fan shroud...I'd guarantee it, but you say yours doesnt then :TU: to you.

Yeah, it should barely touch the shroud, no big deal, if it was touching it's in a notchable spot. If you want the DP let me know.

Dam EG's got it good. I dont think they even realize it.

Fortunately my 2.5 downpipe on a IHI fits perfect with plenty room :-) :-) :-) . stock IHI downpipe cut w/ 2.5 pipe and a flex pipe welded on. I forgot exactly the dudes username on HMT that traded me, but hes the man. even through in a boost gague.

i have the gen 3 etd traction bar on my 91 civic 4dr ive had no issues with it and love the ground clearance. soon to be stuffing a 3 inch downpipe in between it and the engine pretty soon :)
