story: im in Manila, PHilippines
a costumer from Cebu, a neighboring island.. in the Philippines hehe wanted a d16a6 built for his 95EG 4door
he sent us his motor and we went to work..
details:
-d16a6 block, pm0 pistons ( search it ive showed pics of it)
arp rod bolts on stock a6 rods, arp head bolts for safety hehe
-d16a6 head, ported mild, no flowbench , cleaned up cc
-ported intake manifold w/ 60mm B16 throttle
-Header 4-2-1 long tube, with 2.5in collector , and reso
12.7:1 CR
on pump gas!! (94oct)
the powermakers:
Bisimoto Level2 camshaft,
Bisimoto High RPM springs
tuned on Crome, using P08 ecu..
id like to thank Mr. Bisi Ezerioha for the tremendous help, advice and tips, always there, never busy, and very very fast and good costumer service!!

b16a stock bore and stroke with pct typeR pistons
13ish compression, with skunk2 stage2 cam
Hytech production header,
ITR manifold and 65mm Throttle puts out 165-170whp
just to let u guys know

Looks nice and seems to rev high, but IMO it's a bit low on power.. Looks like a breathing problems at higher revs? Maybe better IM and short 4-1 header would help?

yes maybe... but the dynojet we use seem to read low..
my friends 10.9sec racecar weighing 1750lbs puts out 243whp only
regarding the header, yes a 4-1 should put out a bit better numbers, well a good 4-1 in design ofcourse,
but sources are hard to come by,
a better IM maybe... still we dont get s2 manifolds easy here hehe
btw a d16a6/z6 mini-me we did using crower2 cam and pm7, welded chambers full ported head on AvGas made 148whp..
so im def proud to make 147whp on pump for the guy hehe

A dynojet will read Higher than a mustang dyno, mustang dynos are heartbreakers for hondas. I think dynojets with a proper correction are usually right on the money.

geeze. that's a nice powerband... but 12.4:1 !???! how about stock cr with bisi's stage 2.

mind u this is on a street car, with a/c and p/s
the tune is what lets u make a 12.4:1 driveable hehe

no we ran stock oe retainers, it was fine...
S2 mani would be nice true, i have one stashed away, in my room,
would be used/tested in my personal build soon
i do have like 3 z6 manifolds, so trust me.. i know how to make it work

sorry no vid... right after the dyno tuning, we pulled the motor off and shipped it off to a neighboring island..
i rarely take pics of the heads i port, i find it not useful, since one cant learn from pics, specially when it comes to porting...

the ones with the dome... trans this the ones i was suppose to send u..
wud love to try a pm3 piston, flat top, and mill head,
to squeeze it good , maybe .03x " P/H hehe what worries me is hows it gona fair up to a large cam hehehe

What do these pm-0 pistons come out of ? I tried searching. ?

read the whole thread,, this engine has bin removed from my hatch, and packed and already sent to Cebu to the owner/costumer
infact it is running in his 4door civic as we speak..
daily driven ftw!
PM-0 pistons came from the D13b Hyper16 motor
+5cc dome
30.80mm compression height
on a d15b7 with a 134mm rod..
this comes to be .002" above deck..
perfect, kinda like pm7 to the d16's hehe
diff is.. the dome isnt all that huge or tall... (mid dome)
