I have had this car since 96 and ever since it has been fun all the way!! The wheels are going away for a set of 17" Enkei RSF 2's, and a body kit is being installed, it will show the FMIC alot more now..
For more on the specifics and more pics.

I am not sure what it runs now. The engine only has about 1000 miles on it, and I parked it in November, cause I am in Iraq right now, but I hope to take it out next month when I get home for R&R. Before I built the engine up, I ran 14.5@98 on 5.5psi and street tires, I have it at about 12 now so I am anxious to see how it does. I am hopeing to get it tuned on the dyno first then I am hitting the track for sure.

CJ,
What body kit are you going to hang on it? I am getting ready to put the 9 piece MUGEN 1st gen kit on my 87 Si frame...the car has an EW based block with Integra pistons with an 89 Integra DOHC head on top of it. I run the Integra electronics with a custom tune done on TurboEdit (props Jason!)...

Kirk,
The body kit is one my wife got off of ebay, (diabolix racing) it doesnt have a name that I know of. I have been looking for the Mugen kit for years, I have been so close numerous times and somthing always falls through at the other end, scam, people change there minds ect... Sounds like you made the frankenstein like turborex from the crx resource. I bet it runs good too. Did you stay with the 1.5crank or did you run the 1.6 crank?
There is a small pic of the bumper's on my other thread on the SDS system.

I stayed with the 1.5L crank - I like the better R/S ratio...I would really like to build a 1.3L though, rev happy little motors! I built the motor quite some time a go and documented it with pictures and a write up.
Jamie Houseman and I were able to find a 1st gen MUGEN kit that had never been mounted - it was pristine in white gelcoat. Jamie took it home and promptly made the molds for all the pieces and then put the original kit away...now there will be replicas for a long time...
Hope you are staying out of harms way!

Cj,
We organize Group Buys from time to time - there is one person left to fill the current one...
The cost is $1300 for the complete 9 piece set, plus shipping (it has been running ~$250). The deal is you have to commit to the GB with a deposit of 1/2 ($650) then the balance is due before shipment.
If you are interested, let me know and I can get you the information.
Thanks for the interest!

Kirk,
I am gunna have to pass on this. My wife just spent 1400 on getting my new kit installed, and resprayed my car 99 Si blue. It was sprayed the color it was by my friend that said the paint was blue and as you can see it is more purple. No big deal. It only cost about 250 with the clear so I am not out much. So I appreciate you offering though. Hope you post some pics of your 87 with the kit installed soon.

Cj,
It is not a propblem at all. I should have some pictures of a nother persons kit up on the 'net soon - his kit isn't painted yet, but it gives a good idea of what it looks like and how many pieces come in the kit.
