Im currecntly running the NExen N3000's in 205/40/16 and I like them a lot... Im gonna be shooting for 300 whp next year afeter I upgrage the turbo and build the motor(next month)... I was thinking I want a little better traction, so i ordered upo motor mount inserts and I will be getting a nice traction bar kit.... but I was also gonna get wider tires in front.... would a 215/55/16 be good??? thanks!

wider the tire, the more likely hydroplanning is.
that tire size is pretty big for your car. maybe look into I put 215/55s on my accord way back in the day and they were enormous. I had to actually take them off because I could not get the steering to go lock to lock.
Maybe you should look into the 215/45 falken azenis rt615. they even make a 205/40 as well. Those tires are great.

I'd only run a 215 on a smaller rim and shorter sidewall. I'm looking at getting some Nitto drag radials 215 50 14s and they should be just fine. But on 16s and plus a larger sidewall would be asking for rubbing I think in the corners!

Wider tires will defently rubb againts the frame especially at high speeds it will lead to a messy flat or even busted tie rods do to the force i say result may vary ^^^that will be fine

Nitto Drag Radials for the street are the best gripping tires . But they do come with a price... They dont last long.... You want the best, you will have to pay for it

^Yeah, wear rating of 100...but I think I can manage a price of $100 per @ Discount Tire. Maybe even less if my bud there hooks me up!

I run 205/45/16 Toyo Proxes FZ4's.... I love them, and the tire sizing is perfect for my EF hatch. I prefer the 45 series because I like a little more sidewall.
