need help

wondering what's going on.....
after strating my car , it will idle for a while at prox 750 rpm.
after that my check engine light goes on and the idle wil raise to prox 2000 rpm.... after a couple of seconds it wil drop to 250 rpm and than it will shut of.
my ecu gives my the code 5 after my check engine light apears...
what can i do.......

code 5 is for the vacuum side of the MAP sensor - check the vacuum line from the throttle body to the MAP - make sure it isn't cracked somewhere - if line is o.k. try a different MAP sensor - also, check all the vacuum lines to make sure you don't have a leak somewhere
