My car is a 90 Civic hatchback DX was converted to multi. So I now have the SI computer, si intake manifold and all the wireing done right. The car has a d15b7 motor with the obd0 intake manifold. It ran fine for 3 months and it all the sudden is acting up.
When I start the car it fires fine then it dies immediatly. If I hold the gas steady it will stay on but it will jump back and forth from 2000 to 3000 or whereever I hold the gas. If I give it all it has it revs fine.
After it is warm it will stay on, but it will idle really low like .100 rpm right next to 0. When I drive it down the road and hold it in one spot the car jerks back and forth, but again, whenever I floor it it drives fine.
I have noticed it is running very rich, and it is throwing the Check light for Electronic Air Control. I have replace the EACV.
Please Help

I might be wrong but if it was an o2 sensor wouldent it throw that code to?
The code it is throwing is electronic air control...?

sounds like o2 or tps mine does something similar and it used to throw an o2 sensor code but stopped but it still jerks a little bit, go to atpturbo.com they have single wire o2 sensors for like $35

Check the IACV just in case. Also check for vacuum leaks. Maybe a cracked hose or something related... just my 2 cents...

I asked a honda tech today, and he thinks that it would be a combination between my map sensor and my tps... what do you think?

check ur air temp sensor...the white one...or else increase ur idle through that idle screw..

check ur air temp sensor...the white one...or else increase ur idle through that idle screw..
This is very reminiscent of the common issue people have with Y8...mixing up the map and tps sensors..same plug, same location

I have switched the temp sensor, and the idle air control valve and the fast idle, I dont know what else to change, but my map sensor is bad, and I tried a new one, the motor stopped runnign rich, but still surged, I think i need a new tps, but now that motor stopped running wont start. Just tries to start
