as ppl now i have this very nice crx steering wheel. but the problem is i live in a..... well lets just say the crime rate is high and the area is filled w/ricers. i want to put in a quick release hub. i'm also throw in some other things to help prevent my car being jacked. but let's take a look at the wheel.

if you notice it has only 3 allen key srews that secures the steering wheel to the hub. the other 3 small ones are to secure the horn adapter to the wheel which then lets honda horn piece clip on.

the screw formation is called F1 screw position(that's how it was back in the day). now all the hubs are 6 screw pattern. the reason is i've been looking NRG quick release hub. but i really don't want to spend a shit load of money then it doesn't work w/my wheels. and buying a cheap knock off is out of the question. so any ideas.

I think you'll need a new steering wheel, the wheel pictured looks a bit..."used"

I have a MOMO wheel ($290) and a Splash RapFix quick release hub that I got from www.inlinefour.com ($360). Inline Four has some other quick release hubs starting @ $200. Check them out. A solid billet aluminum hub is the best way, great quality with no loose play in the wheel.
